No specific technical or production reason was given beyond the need for additional polish. A PC release date was still not announced; the game remains confirmed only for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S at launch.

2026: Reaffirmations and Pre-Orders Open

Through the first half of 2026, Take-Two Interactive repeatedly reaffirmed the November 19 date through official earnings calls and SEC filings:
